SVRA and Heacock Classic Announce 18 Race National Schedule For 2015
Monday October 20, 2014
Tropical storm Dorian has formed in the Atlantic and it’s possible this storm will approach the U.S. While forecasts are still too far out to predict when and where landfall may occur; it’s never too early to be prepared.
It makes sense to have current and clear photos of your collector vehicle for insurance purposes. In the event of storm damage, good photos will help determine the cars condition prior to the loss.
We’re here to help you understand your insurance. Wind and flood are typically covered losses under an auto policy. If you have questions about your coverage or deductibles please give us a call at (800) 678-5173.
In the event of potential flooding we encourage you to relocate your collector car to higher ground before the storm arrives. Your insurance coverage will follow your vehicle to a temporary storage location. However, this may require some advance planning on your part. Additionally, raising your vehicle with jack stands may help prevent or reduce possible flood damage.
Be sure to have copies of your car’s registration and insurance policy in case of a natural disaster. Store the original registration in a fireproof, waterproof box. It’s also a good idea to have extra keys for your vehicle in case the originals are lost.
